Metropolitan Savannah Rotary – Girls On The Run Program

Metro Rotary worked with the Girls On The Run program to support a both a fall and spring season. We provided financial support to make the project possible, but also provided hands on support for the program. We packed snack boxes for the runs and volunteered to support the end of season 5K run for the girls. 

20 girls from Hodge Elementary during the fall season and 30 girls from Shuman Elementary for the spring season were the beneficiaries.

27 Rotarians packed box snacks for the running events and volunteered for various events, including end of season 5K events.
