2022-2023 Rotary International Theme: Create Hope in the World
Rotary International President R. Gordon R. McInally’s theme for the 2023-24 Rotary year, is a call to action, to “Create Hope in the World”.
He explains that the goal is to restore hope to help the world heal from destructive conflicts and to help achieve lasting change. President Gordon emphasized the need for peace and continuity, including work to empower women and work toward diversity, equity, and inclusion, while not neglecting our Rotary mission to end polio.
Even as RYLA 23-24 comes at the end of a year sadly full of conflict and tragedy around the world – we choose to re-dedicate ourselves to this beautiful and achievable Rotary Theme.
RYLA 2023-2024 will echo that challenge – inspiring attendees to explore ways to use their social connections, and diverse friends & experiences to build partnerships that truly create hope in their communities – and around the the world.
What to ExpectCome enjoy an exciting program with dynamic people on the campus of the College of Coastal Georgia, next door to St Simons and Jekyll Islands. RYLA participants attend an all expense paid four day event, where individuals can expand their perceptions, learn about themselves, discuss leadership skills, and put those skills to practice.
